An expense ledger for one applicant
Official amounts checked October 1, 2026. CEV prices below use the current site price configuration, in USD per applicant. This is a component worksheet, not a fixed all-inclusive quote.
| Expense | Amount or basis | Budget rule |
|---|---|---|
| Consular M-visa fee · US citizen | USD 140, regular service | The current reduction covers single, double and multiple entries through December 31, 2026; recheck after that date. |
| Consular express surcharge | USD 25 per visa, if express is approved | Separate from CEV fees or courier speed; urgent service depends on the consular office. |
| CEV drop-off only · standard consular processing | USD 39.00 | Use if this is the handoff you need. |
| CEV pick-up only · standard consular processing | USD 39.00 | Use if this is the handoff you need. |
| CEV drop-off + pick-up · standard consular processing | USD 78.00 | Choose the combination instead of adding all three service rows. |
| Shipping | Selected carrier / service; review before payment | Count the needed outbound and return legs; check what is already included. |
| Optional preparation | Selected form review, photo or VIP package price | Check inclusions so you do not budget twice for the same support. |
| Total to budget | Consular fee + approved express fee, if any + selected services + shipping + optional support | Review actual selections and the displayed total before payment. |
With standard consular processing, Drop-off is USD 39.00, Pick-up is USD 39.00, and both are USD 78.00 per applicant. With express consular processing, Drop-off is USD 49.00, Pick-up is USD 49.00, and both are USD 98.00 per applicant. VIP prices are unchanged. Consular express processing is not a CEV completion-time promise. Prices are in USD per applicant. Carrier postage, official fees and optional services are separate. Confirm the current selection and total before checkout.
US residence is not the fee category
The USD 140 row is for US citizens. A non-US citizen applying while resident in the United States may face a different consular fee, including nationality-specific reciprocity rates. Confirm the current amount with the responsible office rather than using a US-citizen budget unchanged.
A longer validity request does not buy a particular visa outcome. The consular officer decides issuance and terms; payment for a service is not payment for approval.
Approve the budget without double counting
- Choose drop-off, pick-up or the combined handoff according to work still needed.
- Identify which shipping legs are included and which need a separate charge.
- Add optional preparation only after checking package inclusions.
- For several employees, keep applicant fees separate from any confirmed shared shipping arrangement; ask before assuming a consolidated charge or discount.
