Choose consular processing speed and confirm the official fee

Choose the consulate’s processing speed first. Service prices and the suggested official fee update with your choice.

StandardExpress

Express is the consulate’s visa processing speed, subject to consular confirmation. It does not promise same-day or next-business-day completion by CEV. CEV handling priority is a separate choice below.

Confirm the official visa fee

Fee per applicant

Paid to the consulate on your behalf

Final settlement is adjusted to the actual consular charge.

Why can this amount change?

This official visa fee is paid to the Chinese consulate on your behalf by CEV. Any consular express surcharge also goes to the consulate. CEV’s own service fees are separate.

The suggested amount follows your processing speed and common fees for an ordinary U.S. passport. Edit it if your consular fee differs; editing this amount does not change your processing speed.

Visa fees vary by passport nationality and application type. The amount is kept separate from CEV service fees and reconciled against the actual consular charge.

Consular handling

Choose one or both

CEV handling priority

Standard handling is typically arranged within 1–3 business days once materials are complete or the consulate makes the passport available for collection.

Priority coordination is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis, subject to staffing, consular availability and carrier cutoffs. Same-day or next-business-day completion is not guaranteed.
